This is one of the busiest days for florists and chocolatiers! I have a love/hate relationship with Valentine's Day. I once despised this day because it reminded me that I was still single. Now that I have Shaun I don't feel as though this commercial holiday is so terrible, but I still think that it is a highly commercialized money making holiday. I certainly don't need a holiday to tell him how I feel, because he already knows.
This is the card I made for Shaun. I used products from Studio Calico's January Add-On Kit, Betty Crocker and Mary Jane. I love the little heart and I am so glad the colors do not include red!

Shaun bought me these lovely chocolates: K Chocolatier by Diane Krön. I tried the truffles and they will make anyone melt on the spot! The packaging is a keeper, so is Shaun! I love you hunnie bunnie!

Shaun chose these for pretty package:
K Truffles (most famous): three textures of intense, gorgeous dark chocolate with whipped centers
K Bears (addictive): little crispy teddy bear shapes covered in milk, dark, & white chocolate
K Kranberries (divinely healthy): dark chocolate covered tart cranberries
K Pomegranates (double antioxidants): dark covered pearl-sized gems of pure tart & sweet pomegranate puree

YUM! I'll have to pace myself!
We're having dinner at our favorite restaurant, Alta, on Saturday and I can't wait! Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I hope your day is as sweet as mine!
