One year ago this weekend after the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, Shaun and I found this gourmet diner.  It was delicious and we couldn't resist coming back here again this year after the walk.  We sat in the garden area again and ordered pretty much the same thing too.  I had the Eggs Benedict and grapefruit juice, and Shaun had the Hellenic Omelet with rye toast.  Last time I had the Hellenic Eggs and loved it because of the olive bread.  This is a great brunch place and the service is quick.  I especially like the garden seating area and the little corn muffin that accompanies your plate.

Did I ever tell you about this wonderful Italian gelato place?  Well, I brought Shaun here so he could experience the light and creamy deliciousness that is Grom.  No words can really describe this gelato, you will just have to visit the shop and experience it for yourself.

Shaun decided to go with the Crema di Grom and I chose half Crema di Grom and half Tiramisu.  I also went with a medium rather than a small cup.  This is a dessert that is simply irresistible to all, plus they make it fresh daily and the nutritional information won't shock you.

Shake Shack has the best burger in New York City!  The lines are long throughout the months that this aroma enticing stand is open.  I ordered the Double Stack which is a cheeseburger and a ’shroom burger (crisp-fried portobello filled with melted muenster and cheddar cheese) topped with lettuce, tomato and Shack sauce.  Now that is a mouth full!  It was YUMMY!  A whole lot of greasy goodness...just take a look at this colossal burger, is your mouth watering yet?!

I have never had a burger like this before which explains the long lines.  It exceeds all expectations of what a burger should be and could be a competator for California's In and Out Burger.  They are open seven days a week from 11am to 11pm, so you better get your burger fix before they close for the winter.

The Theatre District has so many great restaurants that you won't go wrong with any one you pick.  We went to Tony's DiNapoli for dinner before the Broadway show 'A Tale of Two Cities' and the dishes are HUGE!  All dishes are served Family Style Italian!  Shaun looks like he is really concentrating on deciding what to eat.  It is especially difficult when most the menu is meat.

When you first walk into the restaurant you will notice all the painting, these huge menu boards, and the caricatures of celebrities.  The huge menu boards are my favorite part of their decor, but another great feature is the chandelier lighting which creates a very cozy atmosphere.

We ended up ordering the Zuchini Fritti and Linguine with Seafood.  Yum yum!

We were so stuffed after that there was no room for dessert, but we eyed a neighboring table's dessert and it looked decadent!
