I think I was momentarily in heaven at The Chocolate Room. We weren't completely satisfied with dinner, so Shaun made an executive decision to stop at The Chocolate Room for dessert and boy did it turn a frown upside down!

The minute you walk in here, you are hit with the magnificent smell of chocolate!  Who doesn't love chocolate? Especially, dark chocolate!  I couldn't resist, I ordered a dark hot chocolate with a marshmallow. They make their marshmallows the same day, just take a look at the hunk of fluff floating in my cup! 

Shaun had the classic hot chocolate which was also a delight.

Now the main event!  We chose the peanut butter cheesecake special. The plate was decorated with dollops of chocolate sprinkled with pretzel bits and sea salt.  The cheesecake was topped with fresh whipped cream and oreo cookie crumbs.  I was especially delighted to find an oreo cookie crumble on the bottom of the cheesecake. We give this peanut butter cheesecake four thumbs up!

Who can resist this delicious temptation?!  I think that it is time for you to go to The Chocolate Room and indulge a little!  I know we did.

Gelato the way you want it!  Shaun was introduced to this delicious establishment by one of his students. You can choose from a variety of gelato, sorbetto, or yogurt pop, then choose your chocolate dippings or drizzles and poppings.  The first time you go there, you will be so overwhelmed with the different combinations that can be made that it will be difficult to choose.  However, by the second of third time you go there, you'll just choose something just to see if the flavors will harmonize.  That is why Popbar is such a fun place to go!  To see why they are so unique and to entice you to visit, check out their website now for all the flavors, poppings, and dippings.  My favorite flavor is the coconut with dark chocolate and Shaun really likes the pistachio with dark chocolate.

A GREAT find!  We were pleasantly surprised to see this cart and curious to find out what it was all about.  This is definitely not your average everyday cupcake!  

We tried the "Hot Tottie", an almond cake with butterscotch mousse and toffee frosting. The combination of flavors create a happy harmony in your mouth.  It has just the right balance of sweetness and the toffee bits add a bit of crunch.  We'll definitely be back to try more cupcakes!

Did I ever tell you about this wonderful Italian gelato place?  Well, I brought Shaun here so he could experience the light and creamy deliciousness that is Grom.  No words can really describe this gelato, you will just have to visit the shop and experience it for yourself.

Shaun decided to go with the Crema di Grom and I chose half Crema di Grom and half Tiramisu.  I also went with a medium rather than a small cup.  This is a dessert that is simply irresistible to all, plus they make it fresh daily and the nutritional information won't shock you.
